Capstone is proud to be a member of the community
As an owner and operator of power businesses that provide essential services, we have close ties to the communities in which our businesses are located. We provide power to regional electricity grids, are a source of employment, provide work for local contractors, businesses and other vendors, and support community initiatives.
Capstone builds partnerships with Indigenous communities, municipalities and commercial and financial partners to enhance the value of its operations. Capstone and all its project partners work together to deliver safe, clean, reliable power to communities across Canada.
Capstone invests directly and indirectly in the communities which host our power plants. We are proud to be a contributing member of all the communities where we have our operations whether through direct local employment, payments received from property taxes, supporting and volunteering in local community initiatives, and providing donations and sponsorship's for programs that support environmental, education, youth engagement, sustainability, technology innovation and local special events.
