Settlers Landing Wind
Overview
The Setters Landing Wind Park project is a 8 megawatt (MW) wind energy project located in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario near the town of Pontypool. In April 2010, the project was awarded a 20-year term power purchase agreement by the Ontario Power Authority under the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) program. The project consists of 4 Senvion (formerly named REpower) MM92 wind turbines, with a rated capacity of 2.0 MW.

Reports prepared in support of an application for a Renewable Energy Approval (“REA”) were completed to satisfy the requirements of O. Reg. 359/09 and can be viewed and downloaded below.
Community initiatives in the vicinity of our Snowy Ridge and Settlers Landing wind facilities may be eligible for support through our Community Enhancement Fund.
