Glace Bay I & II Wind

Overview

The Glace Bay facilities, located near the town of Glace Bay on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, consist of seven Enercon E70 wind turbines, two Enercon E48 wind turbines and one Enercon E82 wind turbine, totalling approximately 20 megawatts of installed capacity.  The electricity generated by Glace Bay is sold to Nova Scotia Power Inc. under long-term power purchase agreements.
