Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund Declares January 2007 Cash Distribution

TORONTO, January 19, 2007 – Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund (TSX: MPT.UN – “MPT”, the “Fund”) today declared a cash distribution for the month of January 2007 of $0.08583 per trust unit. The distribution will be paid on February 28, 2007 to unitholders of record at the close of trading on January 31, 2007.

A distribution of $0.08583 per unit will also be paid on February 28, 2007 to holders of Class B Exchangeable Units of MPT LTC Holding LP, an indirect subsidiary entity of the Fund, of record on January 31, 2007.
