Leisureworld to Present at BMO Capital Markets 2009 Infrastructure and Utilities Conference

TORONTO, Ontario (January 28, 2009) – Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund (TSX: MPT.UN; MPT.DB – “MPT”, the “Fund”) today announced that Martin Liddell, Chief Financial Officer of Leisureworld Senior Care (“Leisureworld”), in which MPT owns a 45% interest, will present at the BMO Capital Markets 2009 Infrastructure and Utilities Conference on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. ET.

Leisureworld is the third largest provider of long-term care in the Province of Ontario. Mr. Liddell will provide an overview of Leisureworld’s operations and performance and discuss why Leisureworld is positioned to generate stable, predictable cash flow throughout the economic cycle.
